As an amendment to motion S5M-16400 in the name of Gordon MacDonald (Improvement of Inpatient Paediatrics at St John's Hospital), insert at end "; commends the parents, staff, children and members of the public from the Lothians who have campaigned over the last six years to ensure that the ward remained open and that NHS Lothian is committed to its future, and looks forward to the ward reopening as a 24/7 service as recommended by two reports from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.”
