The Mad Batter Bakery and Coffee Shop, Coatbridge
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates The Mad Batter Bakery and Coffee Shop, which is in Coatbridge, on being shortlisted in the south west region Bakery of the Year category at the 9th Scottish Independent Retail Awards, which will take place on 9 April 2019 at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel; praises its owners, Graeme Neil and David Frame, and the staff, on their hard work, which has helped create the shop's unique and innovative bakery products; believes that the nomination is recognition of the determination of Graeme and David, who opened the business less than 18 months ago, to create a niche service in the area, and wishes everyone an enjoyable evening at the ceremony and the very best with their endeavours.
