West Lothian College Student Association Wins at NUS Awards

That the Parliament congratulates West Lothian College Student Association on being named College Student Association of the Year at the National Union of Students (NUS) Awards; understands that the awards, which have been running for eight years, are a celebration of student associations, officers and staff; acknowledges that the student association has been recognised as a result of its full evaluation of its Class Ambassador system, which will allow for students to collect and implement feedback from all college students; further acknowledges that the student association has completed admirable work in assessing the health and wellbeing needs of its students, which has resulted in the creation of student welfare packs, free soup and a roll for all students and discounted breakfasts, among many more progressive initiatives; notes that this is the second award that the student association has been shortlisted for in 2019, and wishes it the best of luck for the future.
