Earth Hour 2019

That the Parliament acknowledges that WWF Earth Hour 2019 will begin at 8.30pm on 30 March; understands that millions of people will turn off their lights for 60 minutes as a symbol of their commitment to both the planet and to halt climate change, including thousands of households across Scotland; notes that some of the country's most iconic landmarks. such as Edinburgh Castle, the Forth Bridge and the Kelpies, will also take part; recognises the support of Scotland’s local authorities, and acknowledges what it sees as the cross-party work that is taking place to ensure that Scotland's forthcoming climate change legislation will help to slow down and tackle climate change and its potentially catastrophic impacts.
