Inverurie Goes Green for Run
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates those who attended, participated in and volunteered on 24 March 2019 in Run Garioch’s eGroup 5k, Dandara 10k, eGroup half-marathon, and the run kids’ CP&Co Junior Run; notes that this is one of the biggest annual sporting events in the Garioch area's calendar; understands that Run Garioch 2019 is a family event where, regardless of ability, everyone can get involved; notes that the money raised for the Gathimba Edwards Foundation goes towards helping children get back into education by paying school fees and giving them the upbringing and the support that they deserve; commends everyone on their efforts that make this event possible, and sends its best wishes to all the winners.
