The motion

That the Parliament notes the publication of Education Scotland’s report on Noble Primary School in the Bellshill area of the Uddington and Bellshill constituency; understands that the report included recognition that the school created a welcoming, supportive and nurturing environment, which allowed it to develop very strong partnerships that are improving experiences for children; further understands that children had consistently high standards of behaviour and courtesy and showed great respect for staff, other children and visitors to the school, with the children being very proud of their school and what they achieve individually and collectively; believes that such positive reports are only possible through the strong teamwork and effective collegiality of staff, which was recognised by the report, and that all staff are working hard to make a positive contribution in improving their practice and are working with a common purpose; acknowledges that Noble Primary School was recognised for its strong leadership through its headteacher, and pays tribute to all staff who work in schools such as this for the contribution that they make to delivering high-quality learning and teaching that makes a positive difference to the lives of young people.
