Retirement of Peter Copeland, University of Dundee Lecturer
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the service of Peter Copeland, who is retiring after over 40 years lecturing in engineering at the University of Dundee; understands that Peter graduated in 1967 and joined Crudens Ltd as a soil engineer and was involved with the construction of Whitford housing in the city before going on to become the firm’s mechanical services engineer; believes that he commissioned most of the mechanical services for Ninewells Hospital before joining the university in 1978; acknowledges that he is a fellow of the institutions of mechanical, building services, agricultural and operations engineers; congratulates Peter on his service, and wishes him good luck for his retirement and future plans.
