West Lothian College Project SEARCH Student, Kevin Watson
The motion
That the Parliament notes that Kevin Watson from Livingston is one of eight West Lothian College Project SEARCH students who will have three work placements at St John’s Hospital as part of his course; congratulates Kevin on meeting all of his targets on his first placement in the hospital laundry where the manager described his performance as "outstanding"; understands that, less than one week into his second placement, all of Kevin’s former work colleagues in the laundry signed a petition to have him back, and commends the partnership between St John’s Hospital, West Lothian College and West Lothian Council’s Supported Employment Service to deliver Project SEARCH, which aims to prepare young people like Kevin for employment on completion of their course.
