The motion

As an amendment to motion S5M-16702 in the name of Miles Briggs (Looking After Those Who Look After Us), leave out from "notes" to "health service" and insert "believes that this support for staff should include support in their initial training, and welcomes that in Scotland free tuition has been retained for nursing and midwifery students, and that their bursaries are increasing by £10,000 in 2020; notes the observations of the BMA that Brexit will have a 'potentially devastating impact' on the health and social care workforce, and agrees with the BMA that, for staff from the EU, 'It is simply wrong that they should feel they no longer belong here or should be planning to leave as a result of Brexit'."
