Meldrum House Country Hotel Wins Global Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Meldrum House Country Hotel on its Cave Bar winning the Hotel Bar of the Year at the World Whisky Awards; understands that these prestigious global awards were launched in 2004 to showcase the very best in the whisky industry; acknowledges that the bar is part of the original manor house on the hotel site, which dates back to 1236, and that it offers customers over 120 malts and blends; recognises the importance of businesses such as the country hotel in showcasing the food and drink that Scotland has to offer; commends its staff on this success, and wishes them all well.
