A904 Bo’ness Road Closure

That the Parliament understands with disappointment that the Scottish Ministers have overruled a planning decision in favour of Ineos, which it believes will see the closure of the A904 Bo’ness Road; considers that the decision to grant planning permission is out of step with the views held by many residents who, it understands, will be subject to increased journey times; believes that this will also bring added pressure to the surrounding road network, and commends the efforts of the campaign group, Bo'ness Road Action Group (BRAG), which it considers has fought continuously against the closure of the road.
