Too Good To Go Food Waste App Launched in Our Place Cafe in Stirling
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the launch of the new Too Good To Go app at the Our Place Cafe in Stirling; understands that this is the first place in Stirling to use the app, which allows local people to purchase food at a reduced rate that would otherwise be wasted; commends the cafe owners, Helen and Alan Rodgers, on their utilisation of technology innovation in order to make a significant contribution to reducing food waste in the hospitality sector, and encourages other similar businesses in the Stirling area and across the country to consider what innovative ways they can use to help tackle food waste.
