Linlithgow Businesses Shortlisted for Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2019
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates two Linlithgow businesses on being shortlisted for the ninth Scottish Independent Retail Awards 2019; understands that Truly Scrumptious Designer Cakes has been nominated in the Bakery of the Year (Central) category and From Italy to Scotland in the Eatery of the Year (Central) award; recognises the importance of independent retailers to the Scottish economy and the employment opportunities that they bring to local communities; notes that the winners will be announced at a ceremony in Glasgow on 9 April, and wishes all the finalists the best of luck.
