Friends to Walk the West Highland Way for Help for Heroes
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ian Temperly, who is an army veteran from East Calder, and his friends, Jonny Pratt and Kenny, Jack and Stephen Marr, on their upcoming walk of the West Highland Way to raise funds for Help for Heroes; understands that they plan to tackle the 95-mile route over five days in June 2019; commends them on this; applauds Help for Heroes on its support of veterans who have been wounded, injured or have illness attributable to their service, and sends its best wishes to Ian, Jonny, Kenny, Jack and Stephen for the challenge.
