The 3rd Johnstone BB Company Band Takes Title in National Contest
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates members of the 3rd Johnstone company of the Boys’ Brigade (BB) who won a national title at the BB Scottish Bands Contest; understands that the event is an annual showcase and competition event for new and established bands from across the organisation, and notes that 2019 marks 40 years of the contest; recognises that the band has both Boys' and Girls’ Brigade members who performed and were awarded first place in the Marching Band Development category; notes that the 3rd Johnstone BB band formed in 1982 and have won the title on three previous occasions; congratulates each member and volunteer instructor for their hard work and commitment, and wishes them continued success for the future.
