Dundee, Scotland’s Best
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Dundee on being named the best place to live in Scotland by The Sunday Times’ annual Best Places to Live guide; understands that the panel took a wide range of factors into consideration when deciding which should be crowned Scotland’s best city to live in, including lifelong learning opportunities, schools, transport links, air quality, culture and community spirit, and believes that the world-leading and highly ambitious plans for the city, which it considers have already delivered so much, including the visually stunning and iconic V&A, have further enhanced Dundee’s national and international reputation as a modern, creative and dynamic city and will ensure that the city continues to grow and thrive in the future.
