John O’Groats Mill Trust
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates John O’Groats Mill Trust on securing £348,064 funding from the Scottish Land Fund to secure the B-listed, disused John O’Groats Mill, along with 9.5 acres of land and two self-catering holiday cottages; notes that the trust plans to restore the mill to its former working condition and develop it as a tourist attraction and social heritage centre; welcomes the opportunities that this project brings to create employment, volunteering and training opportunities, and wishes the trust well in its future activities.
