National Lottery Community Fund Award for Tykes

That the Parliament congratulates Tykes, a Sutherland-based group that provides support services for young people with caring responsibilities, on securing a grant of £318,629 from the National Lottery Community Fund; understands that the funding will be used to deliver drop-in sessions, one-to-one support, group work and respite holiday breaks and activities; notes that the group will also help young carers and their families access services and help to raise awareness of young carers’ issues to schools, health workers and other professionals, and wishes the group all the best with its work.
