Johnstone Photographer Wins Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Johnstone-based photographer, Graeme Hewitson, on his success at the Scottish Master Photographers Association Awards 2019; notes that he won seven awards of excellence, 20 merits and the top awards of Overall Portrait Photographer of the Year and Commercial and Industrial Photographer of the Year; recognises that he has built up extensive knowledge across a wide range of photography fields and established his own business, Monument Photos, 11 years ago; understands that his work has helped him gain esteemed recognition in the industry, including an MPA associateship in portraiture and a British Institute of Professional Photographer Licentiateship; congratulates Graeme on this achievement, and wishes him continued success in his career.
