Stress Awareness Month
The motion
That the Parliament supports Stress Awareness Month 2019, which has been taking place throughout April and has seen health care professionals across the country joining together to increase public awareness about the causes of and ways to alleviate stress; understands that, according to a Mental Health Foundation report, 74% of UK adults have felt stressed at some point over the last year; recognises the link between stress and mental health problems, including depression and anxiety, and applauds the Stress Management Society for its commitment to reducing what it sees as the modern stress epidemic.
