Scrap UWS Graduation Fees
The motion
That the Parliament notes the calls by students at the University of West Scotland (UWS) to scrap fees for graduation; acknowledges that a number of other universities have already removed such fees; understands that a petition in support of this move has received over 2,000 signatures; congratulates and supports all the students and the Students’ Association of UWS (SAUWS) on its initiative to remove what it considers these unfair charges, and hopes that calls to scrap graduation fees at the university are successful.
