Lanarkshire Deaf Club
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Lanarkshire Deaf Club on receiving funding from the National Lottery Community Fund Scotland; understands that the £120,000 award will help to continue deliver social activities and services for deaf people in Lanarkshire; notes that the activities are designed to help overcome social isolation and allow individuals to reach their potential by reducing barriers to services through drop-in sessions, family and youth groups, a job club and driving theory classes, which will help around 600 people, and wishes the club well in all future endeavours.
