Daredevil Fundraisers Descend on Aberdeen
The motion
That the Parliament commends the bravery of more than 100 Aberdeen charity fundraisers; understands that their hair-raising sponsored challenge saw them descend 131 feet from the Northern Lights Tower at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre; notes that they raised £26,000 for Spina Bifida Hydrocephalus (SBH) Scotland; understands that more than 250 people rely on SBH Scotland’s services, which include weekly support groups, home visits by dedicated support workers, financial advice and a helpline, and wishes all involved continued success in their fundraising efforts.
