Therapet at Aberdeen International Airport
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the introduction of Therapet's The Canine Crew to Aberdeen International Airport; understands that Therapet in the Aberdeenshire area is managed by the charity, Canine Concern Scotland Trust, and that The Canine Crew is the UK’s first airport therapy dog team, which will be visiting Aberdeen International Airport on a regular basis from 4 May 2019; recognises that dogs have been proven to help improve mental health and wellbeing, alleviate stress and calm nerves; recognises that this is the first venture of this scale in the UK to bring the dogs to an airport environment; thanks Breagh, Bruno, Grace, Enzo, Noodle, Tweedie Bear, Zosha, Vinnie, Cullen, Bronte, Pax, Shuna, Bentley, Luna, Doug and their owners for volunteering their time for the benefit of passengers and staff at the airport, and wishes everyone involved all the best with the venture.
