UWS Wins at Guardian University Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Lanarkshire Campus of the University of the West of Scotland (UWS) on winning the Sustainable Buildings that Inspire category at the 2019 Guardian University Awards, which were held on 10 April in London; understands that the campus, which opened in summer 2018, is one of the most sustainable buildings in the UK; recognises that it is completely carbon-neutral and is powered on 100% renewable energy, and hopes that it will inspire those responsible for the design of future higher education campuses.
