The motion

That the Parliament congratulates the Salvation Army on the success of its Lifehouse service; understands that the project provides a housing support service for people who are experiencing homelessness, with more than 80 lifehouses providing 3,230 beds across the UK; notes that the Salvation Army's Homelessness Services Unit provides a wide range of services to a variety of people and that the lifehouses offer an environment for people who wish to live abstinent from drugs and/or alcohol, with each offering a person-centred approach and a strong emphasis on residents' engagement and involvement in their running; acknowledges that this service is targeted towards the 16 to 25 age range in order to impart specialist support, including the life skills necessary for maintaining a tenancy, and wishes all involved with the Lifehouse project continued success in the good works that they do.
