Congratulations to The Start-Up Drinks Lab
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates The Start-Up Drinks Lab, which is based in Kelburn Business Park in Inverclyde, on winning a lucrative deal with the UK wholesaler, Bidfood Scotland; notes that followed a competition run by Bidfood as part of its "Grabbing Goodness on the Go" campaign, which supports homegrown business, and that The Start-Up Drinks Lab was one of only three companies to win a deal with the company; understands that it won thanks to its popular alcohol-free alternative to rosé wine, Sparklingly Sober; notes that the company started production in June 2018, creating a variety of craft soft drinks, mixers, ready-to-drink beverages, beers and ciders for a variety of brands across the UK; considers that this will open opportunities up to the company to increase its customers, open new doors to its products and help grow the business and brand, and wishes the company, and its co-founders Craig Strachan and Hannah Fisher, all the best for the future.
