As an amendment to motion S5M-17190 in the name of Colin Smyth (Scotland's Future, Scrap the Cut to the Air Departure Tax), insert at end “; notes the recent comment by the Chief Executive of the Committee on Climate Change that it 'would help immensely with the emissions challenge there is in Scotland' if the Scottish Government chose not to cut the Air Departure Tax, and believes that this is a prerequisite of elevating Scotland’s commitment to tackling the climate emergency.”
