Paisley Daily Express, 2019 UK Regional Newspaper of the Year

That the Parliament congratulates the Paisley Daily Express on winning the UK Regional Newspaper of the Year award at the 2019 Newspaper and Magazine Awards in London on 9 May; notes that the Express beat tough competition, including from the Liverpool Echo, the Western Daily Press and The Sentinel to scoop the prestigious prize, commends the editor, Gavin McInally, and all his team on this achievement; notes that the Express has dedicated the award to the thousands of its loyal readers, and wishes the paper continued success in providing Paisley with a great daily newspaper that has served the town for nearly 150 years.
