Fauldhouse and Breich Valley Community Development Trust

That the Parliament welcomes Fauldhouse Community Development Trust’s expansion to cover the wider Breich Valley area to become the Fauldhouse and Breich Valley Community Development Trust; understands that the trust is a grassroots organisation, which was set up by people from the Fauldhouse area in 2006 with the primary aims of addressing the social, economic, environmental and physical needs of the communities that it serves, the issues that they face, and their aspirations; acknowledges that it also offers support, information, advice and a wide range of capacity building and project development services; believes that this expansion will see it support a number of communities, including the villages of Fauldhouse, Longridge, Breich, Addiewell, Stoneyburn and Bents; understands that these communities are working together to deliver benefits for all residents, and wishes the trust well with its work.
