Finn Mitchell’s Success at Young Photographer Competition
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Finn Mitchell from Clydeview Academy on winning the annual Young Photographer competition run by the Rotary Club of Gourock; recognises that it was one of the most fiercely contested competitions to date; notes that this year’s theme was "the beauty of nature" and that each student submitted three of their favourite pieces of work for consideration; applauds Joshua Smart from St Columba’s High School on being named runner-up, and Clydeview Academy’s Morna McColl on coming third, and wishes the overall winner, Finn, all the best in the Rotary District 1230 competition for the chance to reach the UK final.
