Steph Rook Awarded Scholarship Fund

The motion

That the Parliament congratulates Steph Rook, a Fife College student from Glenrothes, on being awarded a scholarship fund that aims to help students progress their studies to HND level; notes that the scholarship fund was donated by the bilateral integration consultant and neuro-development practitioner Dr Andy Dalziell, and awarded through the Adam Smith Foundation; understands that Dr Dalziell’s scholarship is open to those studying HNCs in childcare, healthcare or social care, and aims to help students progress to HND level by offering funds for resources as well as the opportunity to undertake a work placement; commends Steph for her dedication to her education, and notes that she has already completed a Geography and Environmental Sciences degree at the University of Dundee and returned to higher education in 2019, enrolling in the HNC Childcare Practice course, and wishes Steph the best of luck with her education.
