Celebrating Beatrice Offshore Windfarm
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Beatrice Offshore Wind Ltd on completion of the Beatrice offshore windfarm, which is 13km off the coast of Caithness; acknowledges all the hard work of the crew in harsh North Sea conditions and recognises that the project was completed on time and under budget; congratulates Wick Harbour Authority on its involvement; notes that the generating capacity is enough to power over 450,000 homes; welcomes the regeneration of Wick Harbour and the jobs created as a result of the development, and wishes the company all the best for the future.
