Kelty and District Art Group Competition
The motion
That the Parliament notes the annual competition being run by Kelty and District Art Group in memory of its founder member, Jim McLure, who passed away in September 2016; understands that the contest, which is open to the two village primary schools, has received over 300 entries to date; believes that this is a fitting tribute to a man who it considers inspired and encouraged so many people to take up art as a hobby through workshops and classes, and wishes the competition participants and the art group every success in the future.
