The motion
That the Parliament understands that "Minecraft" has become the best selling video game of all time, having sold more than 176 million copies across the world; congratulates the Dundee-based company, 4J studios, on its part in the "Minecraft" success story; recognises Dundee’s role in the rise in popularity of video games worldwide, having pioneered the world’s first university video games design course and been home to acclaimed games such as "Lemmings" and "Grand Theft Auto", and wishes 4J studios and other games companies in the City of Discovery continued success in the future.
