Rev Roy Henderson’s Fundraising
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Rev Roy Henderson from Pollokshaws Parish Church on his fundraising for Christian Aid Week by walking over the Erskine Bridge, representing both the Parish Church and the presbytery of Glasgow, and notes that the aim of Christian Aid Week is to raise funds to support the charity's work and show solidarity with mothers in Sierra Leone in their work to recover from years of carnage and misery brought about by the horrors of civil war and the Ebola crisis.
