Celebrating CHAS Partnership with NHS Lothian

That the Parliament commends the partnership work of CHAS (Children’s Hospices Across Scotland) and NHS Lothian in providing neonatal palliative care at Simpson’s Centre for Reproductive Health in Edinburgh; understands that CHAS medical staff have been based there since 2014 and are an integral part of service delivery within the unit; recognises that CHAS’s nursing, medical and family support input aims to work seamlessly with NHS staff working in the unit, and recognises that this service promotes further development of holistic palliative care in the region, providing a vital service for patients in great need.
