Congratulations to Kilmarnock FC
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kilmarnock FC on achieving third place in the Scottish Premiership 2018-19 season in this, its 150th year, which is its highest finishing position since the 1965-66 season, the year after it won the Championship; congratulates the management, players and staff under Steve Clarke on achieving a record tally of 67 points, seeing the club getting back into Europe for the first time in 18 years; thanks the club’s amazing staff, supporters and the director, Billy Bowie, for achieving such a transformation in the club’s fortunes; wishes Steve Clarke continued success in his Scotland role, and wishes all of Scotland’s club teams good luck in their forthcoming European campaigns.
