Orkney Housing Association Shortlisted for Scottish Homes Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Orkney Housing Association Ltd (OHAL) on being shortlisted for the Housing Association of the Year at the Scottish Homes Awards, which will take place in Glasgow on 13 June 2019; understands that the prestigious competition seeks to highlight excellence in new-build housing across Scotland; notes that OHAL’s relatively small team has demonstrated tremendous dedication to customer service and made a significant contribution to the island community; recognises that this includes supporting a local Make a Stand campaign and providing support for people who experience domestic abuse by making the housing service more accessible and empathetic; commends Craig Spence, and everyone at OHAL who has contributed to the service, for their dedication, and wishes them the very best of luck at the final.
