Appointment of Reverend Christopher Jones
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Reverend Christopher Jones on his recent appointment as the Priest-in-Charge of Christ Church, Duns and St Ebba’s Church Eyemouth; acknowledges that this appointment was made by the Berwickshire Episcopal Churches Group and was upheld on 20 May 2019 at Christ Church Duns, and believes that the Scottish Episcopal Church is part of Scotland’s rich history and is deeply committed to its membership of the worldwide Anglican community, which is a family of over 70 million Christians in more than 160 countries.
