ProjectScotland Glasgow
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates ProjectScotland on receiving £95,470 from the Big Lottery Fund's Young Start programme; understands that the new project, which is based in Glasgow, will use the funding to deliver a volunteering programme aimed at young people with mental health issues; notes that it will seek to engage between 100 and 120 participants between the ages of 16 and 24 over a two-year period, providing them with the opportunity to develop skills and experience in a supported environment; welcomes this new Glasgow-based project, and wishes both project staff and participants future success.
