Thousands Benefit from the Biggest Ever Aberdeen Youth Games
The motion
That the Parliament commends the annual Aberdeen Youth Games, which it believes is one of Scotland’s largest sports projects; celebrates the 1,500 pupils from 45 primary schools from across the city who took part in a range of sporting activities during the Primary Festival of Sport; applauds the games' innovative and multi award-winning programme, which promotes physical activity, health and wellbeing; understands that this provides participants with invaluable and impactful real-life learning opportunities to help enhance their employability, and believes that sport can have a powerful and positive impact on the health and wellbeing of communities.
