Blackhall Primary School Park Smart Campaign
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Blackhall Primary School on its "Park Smart" campaign, which is having an immediate impact on parking near the school and in highlighting the nationwide problem of parking near primary schools; understands that this issue is particularly acute at the school on the very busy Craigcrook Road in the Edinburgh Western constituency; applauds the work of staff and pupils who have launched the campaign, which sees them and parents holding placards outside the school in high visibility vests; considers that the campaign has already had a positive and immediate effect in reducing the parking problem near the school, and hopes that other schools will follow suit.
