Made in Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the University of the Highlands and Islands on securing its status as custodian of the "Made in Scotland" trademark; notes that the trademark, and its associated company, Made in Scotland Limited, has been gifted to the university for the benefit of current and future students, along with the university's alumni; recognises that the trademark was created to help promote Scotland's businesses, and thanks the donors, Kathleen Hardie and the late Derek Reid, for taking the decision to find a new home for their company to continue the spirit of the brand that they started.
