Ramblers Coffee Shop
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ramblers Coffee Shop in Peebles on being named the Best Themed Café at the Scottish Café Awards, which were presented recently in Glasgow; understands that the award was granted in recognition of its collection of vintage cameras as well as its type 1 diabetes carbohydrate-counted menu; notes that, in addition to winning this award, it recently organised a fundraising weekend for Diabetes UK, which included a tombola and a 235-mile spin bike ride and raised over £4,000; thanks its staff for their hard work and dedication in making the shop a success and their generous charitable work, and wishes them all the best.
