As an amendment to motion S5M-17504 in the name of Dean Lockhart (Realising Scotland's Potential), insert at end “; notes that the UK and Scottish economies have both been suppressed by the Brexit process already but that the UK Government’s projections show economic growth for every part of the UK being much worse off under every type of Brexit, meaning less money for public services; believes that a process that started with democracy should end with democracy, and that a People’s Vote is a legitimate means to exit from Brexit, and further believes that the lesson of Brexit is that breaking up long-term economic partnerships leads to chaos and economic upheaval.”
