Buckie Lifeboat, Hero of Heroes
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates RNLI Buckie on being presented with the Hero of Heroes title at the inaugural SPP Media Group Moray and Banffshire Awards; commends the dedication of the volunteer crew who provide a 24-hour rescue service in all weathers; acknowledges the RNLI’s educational campaigns, such as Respect the Water, which aim to improve safety knowledge for anyone who goes out on the water, and recognises the efforts of the many fundraising volunteers who support this vital service, which is funded entirely by donations.
