100 Years of Landemer Day

That the Parliament acknowledges the recent 100th anniversary of the first Landemer Day in Rutherglen; understands the significance of the celebration to local residents and the value that the event places on the importance of community; notes the efforts that go into organising Landemer Day, including the planning of entertainment and the co-ordination of a number of activities, vendors and local organisations lining the Main Street; congratulates the Landemer Committee on its hard work in preparing for this important community event each year, and wishes the committee well for the next 100 years of Landemer celebrations.
