Congratulations to Boyd Tunnock
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Boyd Tunnock, the inventor of the Tunnock's teacake, on his knighthood in The Queen’s Birthday Honours List; recognises that Boyd is the head of the Uddingston-based firm that produces the caramel wafer, the snowball and the famous teacake, which was invented in 1956; is pleased that he has received this honour for services to business and charity, and sends him, his family and all the Tunnock’s workforce its best wishes for the future.
