Norman MacDonald MBE

That the Parliament congratulates Norman MacDonald, owner of Cafe One on Castle Street, Inverness, on being appointed an MBE in The Queen's Birthday Honours List; notes that this was for services to charity and terminally ill people at the Highland Hospice, which he has supported for more than a decade; further notes that he started as a fundraiser for the hospice in 2005, became a board trustee in 2011, vice chairman in 2014 and has been chairman since 2016, and commends him on his future plans for a palliative care network.
